We are based in the beautiful village of Flamstead and offer a variety of fun activities to enjoy through the long school holidays.
All the activities take place in the grounds of Flamstead Village School, which boasts a fabulous heated outdoor pool. Recently cleaned, painted and refilled, we know your children will love to come for a swim or play whilst you enjoy the wonderful countryside views that surround the school.
The pool is used during term time for children’s swimming lessons within the School and is open to the public during the school holidays.

Beechwood Park, near Flamstead, is one of Dacorum's finest country houses. Now a school, it was once the home of the Saunders Seabright family.
Capability Brown surveyed the estate in 1754 and produced a scheme to landscape the park and develop the house. The results of this can still be seen today.
In the early 19th Century Arthur Young visited and wrote that he had 'rarely seen finer trees than at Beechwood - beeches, immense cedars, oak and very large ash, straight and beautiful, large spruce and skotch pine - equally fine.'

CHARITIES
The Flamstead 10k was created to help support the maintenance and future development of the Flamstead Pool & Play Club, an extremely important asset within our community. All net profits from the event will go directly to the Flamstead Pool & Play Club (charity No.1108572).
During 2015, rather than nominating an additonal charity partner we are inviting you the runners to choose a charity close to your heart that you wish to support. Or you can simply choose to run the event without raising additional funds, happy in the knowledge that your participation is adding great value to the children and families of Flamstead and the surrounding communities that use the pool.
